I've Always Loved This Song

Not only did Laura and I both like this song because it was so pretty (and she is the one who originally turned me on to Yo La Tengo), but I feel that it is an appropriate-themed song for how I feel right now.  It's a beautiful song, give it a listen.

A Little Bit Stronger

While I can't relate to the break-up aspect of this song at this point in my life, I can definitely relate to parts of the chorus:

"I know my heart will never be the same,

but I'm telling myself I'll be okay,

even on my weakest days- I get a little bit stronger"

Making a Comeback

After a LONG vacation from blogging about the music world, I have decided to return.  I'll have to do a little exploring to find some new sites that will host songs and let me make playlists, but I'm up for the challenge.  The recent loss of my best friend has convinced me to look for comfort and pleasure in music, and that is what I plan to do.  Please bare with me as I re-orient myself to the world of blogging and music.
