Andrea Revel

Artist: Andrea Revel
Genre: Mixed (folk/electronica)
Albums: Citysong (2004), Mile Zero (2000)
Compared to: Beth Orton, Dido, Sarah McLachlan

Andrea's music takes on characteristics from many genres, which she blends ever so perfectly to create her own unique sound. Her newer album (Citysong) incorporates more of the electronic/downtempo genre, unlike her debut album (Mile Zero) which displays more sounds of acoustic and folk. Mile Zero was proclaimed one of the best folk albums of 2000 by CKUA radio. Wetlabel.com sums her music up real nicely by calling it "a delicate mix of folk and electronica".
