Katie started to gain recognition after her first hit single "Closest Thing To Crazy" made it in the top 10 on the UK charts. Her new album, Piece By Piece was released in the UK in September of 2005 and she was named the highest selling female artist in the UK for 2004 & 2005. Her first album, Call Off the Search, went 6 times platinum and Piece By Piece is already certified double platinum. It became her second consecutive #1 album and included the top 5 pop single "Nine Million Bicycles." Piece by Piece was released in the US in June of this year.
